Original Music and Covers
Disco Grande, written and performed by me. All guitar parts recorded to hard disk, other parts written on guitar (or imaginary drums) and programed.
Always With Me, Always With You, written by Joe Satriani, guitar played by me, other instruments programed.
Bright Size Life, written by Pat Metheny, guitar played by me, other instruments programed with Band In A Box.
Funky Cold Thang, written and recorded by Josh Wine and I, while searching for that elusive heavy guitar sound. Drums and bass were played on keyboard.
Surf Turtle, written and recorded by Josh Wine and I while consuming one case of beer, two tins of dip, a pack of smokes, a several pinches of "Medicated #99" brand snuff. (And yes, I had to hold some of Josh's strings while he was doing those angry right-hand hammer-ons.)
Guiness In The Hole, ripped off from Van Halen by Josh Wine and I, again, after too many beers. (And yes, that is the sound of a real can of Guiness being opened and poured in a pint glass...in my kitchen.)
On The Sunny Side Of The Street, saxophone performed by me, the rest is auto generated with Band In A Box.
Oop Blues, written by me, background programed with Band In A Box.
Skin Tite, written and arranged by me, background programed with Band In A Box.
Demos, Unfininished Studio Projects, and Other Stuff
Wrecked My 5150 is very purposeful Van Halen rip-off I cooked up between takes during a recording session with Hardcore Lounge.
Grove Rock (aka V-Drum Test), written/arranged/recorded by me, performance by me also, except for the drums. Bryan Reynolds played my nice new V-Drum Tour Kit for all but one verse (can you guess which one?). Anyway, what do you think of my nice new electronic drums?
Hooka Lounge Music, over 8 minutes of completely unplanned, unrehursed nonsense. I like it. Special thanks to Jim Holladay for the excellent drum work (everything but guitar is played on one drum kit all at the same time).
Surf This, something I wrote the main riff to circa 1997/98 during college. This is the first full arrangement -- still needs some tweaking. I played the drums too. Can you tell? And, thanks to Josh Wine for the 11/8 version of the riff that makes the tune even harder to play.
Surf This 2 Skeleton version of a possible final arrangement, with a rough take of the final guitar solo at the end.
Five Foot Four And Twenty Two guitar solo Solo idea for Hardcore Lounge.
Other People's Music I Had Something To Do With (You know, I recorded or mixed it, or something.)
Bach Double, played by Steve McGoey, recorded and mixed in my studio.
The Long Kiss Goodbye, written and recorded by "Handle" (formerly "The Rythm Daddies"), mixed in my studio.
Going Down Sloe, coposition and rythm guitar by Josh Wine, lead by Mike Yarymowich, back up insturments programed with Band In A Box.
Let Loose, written and performed by "Handle" (formerly "The Rythm Daddies"), recording and mixing done by me.
Smile written and performed by "Handle" (formerly "The Rythm Daddies"), recording and mixing done by me.
