San Francisco 2004

In the fall of 2004 I managed to get myself a free trip to San Francisco. I went to interview for position at our head office, which didn't work out, but ended up having a great "all expenses paid" vacation. I even lucked out and managed to arrive the weekend of the Folsom Street Fair. It's similar ot Toronto Pride, but without the parade and a lot more naked gay pornstars -- keep your hands in your pockets lest you brush by something unexpected!

Why It's Called "The Golden Gate"
These are all taken from the docks at Fort Point. It's a beautiful area with a view of The Bay and the downtown. It's also an excellent surf location as waves wrap around from the southern point of The Golden Gates.



Various Spots Along The Coast
The first picture is of the rocky shore around Fort Point. The next three are views from the coatal highway running down from San Francisco on the way to Half Moon Bay. And the last two are from Half Moon Bay, a beautiful little town (like Asheville, NC, but smaller and not in the mountains). Half Moon Bay is a well known surfing location, and has an awesome beach and boardwalk.
